Supported Employment Services
The Supportive Employment Program assists survivors of TBI and individuals with Intellectual Disabilities with exploring and obtaining meaningful employment in integrated business environments. The program provides flexibility in order to closely match each survivor’s capabilities to a fulfilling job. Working one-on-one, Head Injury Association offers encouragement, support and the means necessary for our clients to achieve successful employment outcomes. Through an individualized planning process assessing strengths, abilities and interests, a set of highly personalized support services are developed into a comprehensive employment plan. This plan encompasses such factors as knowledge and skill-sets training, on-the-job accommodations, safety requirements and transportation. All support and services are designed to help the individual maintain competitive employment. This will maximize potential, increase overall independence and foster positive self-esteem.
